We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Specialist to join our team at Campbell Soup Company. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our bakery production equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean and sanitize bakery production equipment, including mixers, dividers, rounders, molders, laminators, cooling tunnels, and packaging equipment.
- Perform minor preventive maintenance on equipment and check for proper operation.
- Clean and maintain product and material handling equipment, including dough troughs, storage racks, utensils, and waste containers.
- Use all cleaners, sanitizers, and other chemicals in accordance with instructions on labels or as defined by supervision.
- Maintain a safe working environment by following safety work rules and completing job tasks in a safe manner.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work from overhead lifts and ladders.
- Forklift, blood-borne pathogen cleanup, dust mask use, powered industrial equipment (PIE) training, and physical and fall protection certifications required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and participate in respirator program.
Frequent exposure to plant environment (noise, heat, machinery). Must be able to work any shift and job requires shift rotation. Frequent weekend and holiday work.
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k, and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
