Job Overview

The Children's Home of Pittsburgh is seeking part-time Registered Nurses for our Pediatric Specialty Hospital. This role requires a minimum of 40 hours per pay period, with two weekend shifts per six-week schedule.

We offer a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio and a supportive work environment that allows our nurses to provide exceptional care to our patients and their families.

About the Role

This position involves providing competent, developmentally appropriate nursing care to pediatric patients. Our ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in clinical nursing knowledge and skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and shift differentials.

Requirements
  • A current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania
  • Minimum of two years of experience in pediatrics or neonatal nursing
  • CPR certification
  • Ability to work cooperatively within a team environment
