Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Set the example by providing friendly, prompt, and efficient customer service, assisting customers with questions and requests, and resolving any issues in a professional manner.
  • Point of Sales Operations: Operate the point of sales register, ring groceries, count change, and balance the drawer to ensure accurate transactions.
  • Front-Line Operations: Assist with various store operations, including selling money orders, issuing product refunds, and counting and balancing drawers.
  • Communication: Answer the phone and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Sanitation and Maintenance: Practice proper sanitation procedures and complete required cleaning to ensure work areas and displays are kept neat and clean.
  • Adherence to Policies: Adhere to company policies and guidelines, including reporting to work on time and as scheduled.

Requirements:

  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Experience: Experience is preferred, but not required. We will train the right person.
  • Work Environment: Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Physical Demands: Must be able to be on their feet for extended periods of time, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, lift up to 20 pounds frequently, and lift up to 10 pounds constantly to move product.
  • Equipment Operation: Must be able to carefully operate equipment necessary to perform job duties.
