About the Role: We are seeking a seasoned Manufacturing Director to oversee the daily operations of our Stamford, CT site.

Job Overview: As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, minimizing costs, and ensuring products meet stringent quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for purchasing, sourcing, and manufacturing.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Expand current inventory management systems.
  • Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes using lean methodologies.
  • Collaborate with global teams and suppliers to optimize supply chains.
  • Support new product developments, ensuring alignment to customer requirements and timely market launches.
  • Promote sustainability practices and social responsibility throughout operations.
  • Travel domestically and internationally to strengthen relationships and support global coordination.

Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in military and aerospace industries.
  • 5+ years of experience managing and supervising diverse staff.
  • Experience with outsourcing or offshoring manufacturing operations.
  • Ability to travel internationally.
  • Understanding of commercial, quality, and technical requirements.
  • Knowledge of Quality Systems (ISO:9000 and/or AS9100).
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, with strong Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of various ERP systems.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish a plus.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive base salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year.
  • Bonus Incentive: Individual performance + company performance.
