Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Senior EHS Analyst to support environmental, health, safety, sustainability, and security efforts for all employees and groups based out of Eaton's DIT Chicago operations in Woodridge, IL.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support EHS activities, including achieving EHS objectives and targets, internal reporting of EHS performance, and ensuring closure of MESH and regulatory agency findings on a timely basis.
  • Develop, implement, and sustain plant-level EHS programs, policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory requirements and conformance with Eaton mandates.
  • Lead projects to drive improvements in the "Zero Incident Safety Culture" program.
  • Facilitate risk assessments to identify critical EHS hazards and aspects, and work with leadership to create targets and objectives based on key EHS risks.
  • Support the creation of EHS goals for the site and activity-based goals for the extended leadership team to drive EHS culture, compliance, and results.
  • Manage site security and support facility management, as needed.
  • Facilitate EHS engagement through EHS employee teams and committees.
  • Compile and analyze MESH data for capturing in Eaton's Safety database, and produce data for the monthly balanced scorecard.
  • Work with leadership and MESH element champions to complete an annual evaluation of compliance with EHS local, state, and federal regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental studies, manufacturing engineering, management/business, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Environment, Health and Safety or equivalent experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment with a focus on safety.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and industry, state, and country EHS requirements.
  • Able to integrate EHS with other functions and act as an agent of change.
