The successful candidate will provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology procedures, and other advanced cardiovascular interventions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology procedures, and other advanced cardiovascular interventions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication, and other medical interventions as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Kentucky.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification may be required for some units.
- Associates's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
