Therapy 2000 is a dedicated provider of home-based pediatric Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy services, offering a unique opportunity for a Pediatric Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist to support families in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough Speech Therapy assessments utilizing standardized evaluations to identify the specific needs of patients.
- Utilize clinical expertise to create and execute tailored treatment plans in accordance with medical directives.
- Collaborate with caregivers to develop home exercise programs that enhance patient outcomes.
- Serve as an integral part of the healthcare team, coordinating care with various professionals and disciplines.
- Ensure a minimum number of patient visits are completed weekly as per agency requirements.
- Adhere to deadlines for patient documentation, including chart updates, progress reports, and call logs.
- Engage with agency staff to maintain clarity on expectations and standards for delivering exceptional patient care.
- Perform all responsibilities in alignment with agency policies and procedures.
Compliance:
- Follow all applicable regulations, ethical guidelines, and laws related to pediatric speech language pathology in a home health context.
Qualifications:
- Active license to practice Speech Language Pathology in Texas.
- A proactive mindset with a proven track record of dependability.
- Adaptability to adjust resources and priorities based on business needs.
- Proficiency in using standard workplace technology, including computers and communication tools.
Preferred Experience:
- Over three years of experience as a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist.
- Background in home health services.
- Certifications or experience in specialized therapies, such as feeding therapy (VitalStim, etc.).
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
