Position Overview:
We are in search of a seasoned tax professional eager to advance their career. This role offers the flexibility of 100% remote work or a hybrid model, allowing for a balanced work-life integration. Your expertise in Tax Accounting, Tax Preparation, Tax Planning, Tax Research, and Tax Advisory will be essential in driving our company’s growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
As our Tax Manager, your duties will encompass:
1. Leading and managing various tax engagements to ensure quality service delivery.
2. Developing and implementing effective tax planning strategies.
3. Conducting thorough tax research and analysis to resolve complex tax issues.
4. Ensuring the accurate and timely submission of tax returns.
5. Providing innovative tax planning solutions and reviewing intricate income tax returns.
6. Advising clients on a range of tax matters, including compliance, audits, and savings strategies.
7. Staying informed about changes in tax legislation and advising clients accordingly.
8. Building and nurturing client relationships to deliver exceptional service.
9. Mentoring and supervising tax team members and interns.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
1. A minimum of 7+ years of experience in Tax Accounting, Tax Preparation, Tax Planning, Tax Research, and Tax Advisory.
2. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field. A CPA, Enrolled Agent, or Bar Membership is highly desirable.
3. Strong knowledge of tax codes, compliance, and corporate procedures.
4. Exceptional client service skills with the ability to foster excellent client relationships.
5. Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
6. Analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
8. Proficiency in tax software and technology.
9. Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
