Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Digital Engineering analytical pipelines with a Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) front end, utilizing a micro-services-based architecture on a cloud-deployed system (AWS Govcloud) to maximize nation-wide system availability, scalability, data integrity, and security.
  • Collaborate with our software architect, senior developers, senior operations analysts, data scientists, and other leadership to design and develop interaction of the MBSE data models with other critical software capabilities and components.
  • Engage with National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) System Program Office (SPO) customer to understand their space protection-related analysis needs and translate them strategically into work products.
  • Conduct research on technical development aspects to ensure datamodels are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Demonstrate analytical products to customers and actively participate in Agile analytical sprint processes and ceremonies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 5+ years of professional experience or master's degree in a STEM field with 3+ years of professional experience. May substitute educational degree for experience.
  • Space domain experience and understanding of Space Protection mission area, including Indications and Warning sensors and Defense of space-based systems.
  • Relevant joint space warfighting experience in an operational, science and technology, or operational test organization.
  • Exposure to modeling, simulation, and analysis tools.
  • Proven track record of engaging with customers, product users, and coworkers to create innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Possess a natural curiosity and desire to challenge yourself and those around you.
  • Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph required. US Citizenship required.
