Job Title: Sr. Quantitative Model Developer and#x2013; Economic Forecasting, SVP

At Citigroup Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantitative Model Developer to lead our model development efforts in economic forecasting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining best-in-class models for various macroeconomic concepts, including GDP, unemployment, HPI, exchange rates, interest rates, credit spreads, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement rigorous analytical research to identify causal relationships and trends in economic data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement models that meet business requirements.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in quantitative modeling techniques.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Strong background in quantitative modeling and economic forecasting.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB.
  • Experience with machine learning and statistical modeling techniques.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
