Patient Care Technician

We are seeking a compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at Landmark Hospital of Columbia. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care in an acute-care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform basic care skills under the direct supervision of the licensed nurse, including vital signs, intake/output measurement, catheter care, CPR, restraint management, bowel and bladder training, and documentation of care in the patient record.
- Assist the licensed nurse in meeting the patient's needs in the areas of personal hygiene, personal care, skin care, grooming, rest, activity, nourishment, body mechanics, elimination, and psychosocial support.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Certification (Certified Nursing Assistant for State of Missouri) Preferred
- Current BLS
- 1-3 years of related experience
- Long-term acute care/hospital experience preferred
