We are currently seeking dedicated and professional Washington Certified Unarmed Security Officers for ongoing maritime protection assignments. The role involves ensuring the safety and security of vessels while they are docked. This position requires physical stamina as it involves being on your feet for extended periods and conducting foot patrols at unpredictable intervals.
Essential Requirements:
- A valid and current Washington State Unarmed Security License.
- A non-expired US Passport or US Birth Certificate.
- Willingness to work 12-hour shifts.
- Flexibility to work both day and night shifts.
- Availability for overtime as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage access control points for various military assets while at berth.
- Maintain a presence by walking, standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
- While guard shacks are available, the role may require outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Effectively communicate through phone, radio, and written reports.
- Monitor access control systems for individuals entering and exiting vessels and gates.
- Collaborate with fellow security personnel to ensure a cohesive security environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of experience as a licensed Security Officer in Washington State.
- Proficiency in using various Security Officer Reporting Applications, such as Tracktik.
- Ability to interact positively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong attention to detail is essential.
