Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. As a key member of our cardiovascular program, you will play a vital role in preparing and assessing equipment and patient conditions for procedures.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a state-of-the-art medical facility, collaborating with a team of cardiologists and serving as a mentor to new hires. Your focus on patient care, rigorous accreditation, and ongoing training will ensure high standards in our innovative cardiovascular program.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare equipment before and during procedures, ensuring optimal functionality and minimizing downtime.
• Assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care, prioritizing their comfort and well-being.
• Maintain a sterile environment, adhering to strict protocols to prevent infection and contamination.
• Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, facilitating their orientation and training.
• Collaborate with physicians and leadership to ensure seamless communication and excellent patient care.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
• One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
• Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registered and/or RCIS from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
• Basic Life Support certification required; Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.

Compensation Package:

• $27.84-$45.46/hour based on previous work experience.
