Oncology Nurse Care Coordinator

LewisGale Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Nurse Care Coordinator to provide high-quality, patient-centered care on our Oncology Unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate patient admissions and discharges to ensure efficient throughput and optimal care delivery.
- Participate in ongoing assessment of patient care services to identify areas for improvement.
- Schedule staff and manage labor to meet patient care needs and productivity standards.
- Maintain inventory control and manage supplies and equipment to support operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the management team to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care.
Requirements:
- A registered nurse license issued by the Department of Health Professions, Commonwealth of Virginia or multi-state privilege granted by virtue of holding a license in one of the states participating in the Nurse Licensure Compact Agreement.
- Full-time day shift (12-hour shifts) with rotating weekends.
