About the Role

WATERMARK ENVIRONMENT is seeking a highly skilled Water Treatment Process Specialist to join our team in Lowell, Massachusetts. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of our wastewater treatment plant.

Job Summary

This full-time position involves performing routine tasks, including equipment maintenance, process sampling, and responding to alarms/emergency conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wastewater treatment processes and a valid MA Grade IV or higher operator's license.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the GWTP, ensuring efficient and safe operation
  • Perform daily O&M tasks, 5 days a week
  • Respond to emergencies and alarm situations
  • Conduct scheduled maintenance activities
  • Supervise maintenance personnel (if required)

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum MA Grade IV or higher operator's license
  • At least 5 years of experience in similar wastewater treatment roles
  • 1+ year of experience with wastewater treatment processes and equipment
  • OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and current refresher(s)
  • Lock out/tag out and confined space entry certifications

Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
