We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee operations at our facility.
Key Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to fulfill essential responsibilities effectively. The qualifications outlined below represent the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities required for success:
- Communication Skills: Proficient in reading and understanding basic instructions, brief correspondence, and memos. Capable of writing clear correspondence and effectively presenting information in individual and small group settings to clients, customers, and fellow employees.
- Mathematical Proficiency: Ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division across various units of measure, including whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Competence in calculating rates, ratios, and percentages, as well as interpreting graphical data.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to apply logical reasoning to execute instructions provided in written, oral, or diagrammatic formats. Capable of addressing issues involving multiple concrete variables in standardized scenarios.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in personal computer usage, with a strong command of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, email) and familiarity with database software.
Experience Requirements
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance is preferred.
Physical Demands
This position requires prolonged periods of standing, bending, stooping, and stretching. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and be exposed to machinery, chemicals, and solvents. Hand dexterity and eye-hand coordination are essential, along with the ability to operate both simple and complex machinery. A normal range of hearing and vision is required.
Educational Background
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
