Job Summary

Millennium Physician Group is seeking a highly skilled Reimbursement Specialist to join our Medical Billing/Business Services Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for claim resolution and payment, working closely with insurance carriers and patients to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately communicate and document patient information for both pre and post-visit data collection.
  • Communicate trends/issues identified with processes, carriers, or provider responses.
  • Coordinate the completion of carrier attestation forms, supporting documentation, or other documents submitted to specific carriers through established workflows in a timely manner post-visit.
  • Utilize daily schedules, carrier websites, forms, fax/scanners, etc. to complete daily tasks while maintaining HIPAA privacy restrictions.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working in healthcare and insurance industry and thorough knowledge of insurance carrier billing and reimbursement, CPT, modifiers, and fee schedule differences required.
