We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Vehicle Title Clerk Administrator to join our team at Green's Toyota of Lexington. As a key member of our Administrative Department, you will be responsible for processing information and documents related to motor vehicle registrations and other state-required documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process vehicle transfer paperwork from the dealership to purchasers, both in-state and out-of-state, based on customer residence.
  • Calculate sales tax and transfer fees to be submitted for transfers, and reconcile figures to transfer schedule.
  • File liens when required, in a timely manner.
  • Update in-house deal tracker daily, according to established procedures.
  • Notarize paperwork for the dealership as requested.
  • Initiate communication to titling jurisdictions to ensure smooth processing of transfers.
  • Answer customer titling inquiries or concerns by phone, email, or in person, in a professional and customer-focused manner.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems with specific titles, odometer discrepancies, power of attorney, etc.
  • Make copies, mail out pertinent documents, and file deal jackets.
  • Prepare and send golden-rods to appropriate lending institutions, when necessary.
  • Process payoffs on trade-ins or lease buyouts, when needed.
  • Process reimbursements to customers, where required.
Requirements
  • Previous title clerk experience required.
  • Attention to detail and organization are must-haves.
  • Fantastic communication and teamwork skills are essential.
  • Professional dress and personal appearance are expected.
  • Will submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
