Job Summary

The Clinical Liaison maintains administrative responsibility for the oversight of Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) on predesignated units assigned by the House Supervisor. This role requires collaboration with the LVN, Clinical Supervisor, Unit Director/Manager, and House Supervisor to assist with tasks as appropriate and within their scope of practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assists and helps to develop and implement departmental plans, including performance improvement activities and compliance with current federal and/or state regulations.
  • Assists, manages, and/or oversees department(s) LVNs.
  • Communicates with staff, physicians, and administration both written and verbally.
  • Reports unit status to the House Supervisor.
  • Performs direct patient care, as needed, within the scope of practice.
Requirements
  • Current and valid state RN License.
  • Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
  • Current ACLS (AHA) 30 days upon hire and maintain current for ER, ICU, and Telemetry.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • RN-C within 2 years of hire.
Compensation

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.

Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status, i.e., full-time or part-time.
