Job Summary

Vinfen is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Residential Counselor to join our team. As a Residential Counselor, you will provide direct support to individuals with psychiatric conditions and behavioral health challenges in an intensive residential Group Living Environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medication under the Medication Administration Plan (MAP)
  • Implement treatment plans and assist individuals with activities of daily living
  • Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the program
  • Work under the direction of the Clinical Program Director to implement recovery-oriented, person-centered, harm-reduction, trauma-informed, culturally competent, and strengths-based approaches

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years of job-specific experience in the human services field
  • Preference given to bilingual/bicultural applicants and applicants with lived experience of psychiatric conditions
