Job Title: Laboratory Supervisor

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laboratory Supervisor to join our team. As a Laboratory Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in a fast-paced clinical laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of laboratory professionals in a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Develop and implement quality control and compliance procedures to ensure regulatory standards are met.
  • Plan, coordinate, and evaluate technical and operational activities to ensure efficient and effective laboratory operations.
  • Provide mentorship and training to laboratory staff to enhance their skills and career growth.
  • Oversee the assignment and submission of proficiency testing and ensure quality control and compliance procedures are followed.
  • Administer and sign off on competency assessments in a timely manner.
  • Review test performance to drive process/project management and prepare and submit required reports to meet established deadlines.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff, management, and other departments to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology/Medical Laboratory Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a clinical laboratory, with 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • MT/MLS(ASCP) or equivalent certification.
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
