Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at inSync Staffing. The successful candidate will provide financial support to our Finance team, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Support the monthly financial reporting process, including posting journals and completing actual and forecast schedules with supporting commentary and variance analysis.
  • Business Partner Services: Provide business partner services as required, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.
  • Strategic Planning: Support the development and maintenance of the Strategic Plan, Five Year Plan, in year forecast, and identify opportunities, threats, and levers.
  • Balance Sheet Reviews: Perform monthly Balance Sheet reviews, validating and explaining key Balance Sheet movements and closing out key control items as required.
  • Financial Presentations: Present financial data to management and be capable of validating and explaining the accounting policies, principles, and procedures involved.
  • Process Improvement: Improve financial processes and maintain their alignment with associated processes.
  • Accounting Research: Research and review accounting issues and provide recommendations and support.
  • Long-Term Planning: Support the development and maintenance of long-term project and contract profit plans, including Long-Term Contract Reviews (LTCRs).
  • Ad Hoc Support: Provide ad hoc support such as, but not limited to, contract billings and payments and miscellaneous financial analysis as required for the Finance team.
Requirements:
  • Education: Associate's Degree with at least 4+ years of Accounting or Financial analysis experience, or Bachelor's degree with at least 2+ years of Accounting or Financial analysis experience, or Master's degree; OR JD/PhD.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and experience with SAP.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Professional Certifications: CPA or MBA.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in Aerospace/Manufacturing, and experience with Hyperion Financial Reporting, VBM, HFM, Oracle.
