Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough cleaning of assigned guest rooms in accordance with established brand standards.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all items present in guest accommodations.
  • Communicate the status of cleaned rooms to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Promptly report any lost and found items to the Housekeeping Supervisor, including the specific room number or area where the item was discovered.
  • Notify Maintenance and the Housekeeping Supervisor of any damaged or missing items.
  • Inform the Housekeeping Supervisor of any unusual situations, such as the absence of luggage in a stay-over room or any damages.
  • Restock housekeeping carts and supply rooms as necessary.
  • Assist with the laundering of towels and linens as required.
Safety Protocols:
  • Utilize all approved cleaning products safely and correctly.
  • Adhere to established key control and security protocols.
Work Environment:
  • Foster a positive atmosphere by interacting respectfully with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Follow appropriate procedures for handling soiled linens and cleaning materials.
  • Ensure housekeeping carts are well-stocked and organized.
  • Assist guests with inquiries and requests as needed.
  • Comply with grooming and dress standards for the department.
  • Be prepared to execute hotel emergency procedures.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned.
  • Punctually arrive for scheduled shifts.
Qualifications:
  • Language Skills: Ability to comprehend the proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals, along with basic guest interactions.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with safe handling of cleaning agents and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Capability to address practical issues and navigate various scenarios with limited standardization.
  • Other Skills: Proficient in operating equipment such as vacuum cleaners and dishwashers. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred.

Physical Requirements:
  • Vision: Must be able to see well enough to read reports and operate equipment.
  • Hearing: Must be able to hear well enough for effective communication.
  • Mobility: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Physical Activity: Must be able to climb stairs and perform kneeling or stooping tasks.
