Job Title: Host/Hostess

Delbar Old Milton is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Host/Hostess to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Host/Hostess is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. This includes managing reservations, seating guests, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements to ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including the entrance, dining room, and restrooms.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, including setting up the front desk area and performing side-work as directed by management.
  • Report any breakage, damage, or equipment issues to management immediately.
  • Participate in daily pre-service meetings and attend training sessions as required.
Requirements:
  • Previous hospitality experience, preferably in a high-volume restaurant.
  • Previous Maitre d' experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion.
