Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Virginia schools. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and Virginia licensure as an Occupational Therapist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' motor, sensory, perceptual, and functional abilities to determine their needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, including therapeutic exercises, activities of daily living, and adaptive equipment recommendations.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to ensure the delivery of coordinated services and support for students.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide written reports and progress updates as required.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Virginia licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience working with children with disabilities in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team
