United Health Services is currently seeking a Licensed Speech Therapist to become a vital part of our Speech Therapy team at UHS Senior Living.

This position is offered on a Per Diem basis.

Shift:
Day

Hours per week:
0

Compensation:
$56.53 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Role Overview:
As a Speech Therapist, you will ensure that speech-language pathology services are delivered in a prompt, precise, and dependable manner.

Your responsibilities will include conducting patient evaluations and providing treatment for both inpatient and outpatient services, along with the necessary clinical documentation.

You will also uphold specific service delivery standards that reflect our commitment to quality service, customer satisfaction, and compliance with corporate regulations.


Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

Minimum Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA) or a Clinical Fellowship year candidate

Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior clinical experience
- Experience with dysphagia and neurogenic communication disorders

Licensure/Certification:

Minimum Requirements:
- New York State license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- CPR certification within the first three months of employment

Preferred:
- Certification as a Teacher of Speech and Language Disabilities
