Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Tack Distributor Truck Driver to join our team at Blaktop Inc. As a key member of our road construction crew, you will be responsible for operating a Tack Distributor Tanker Truck to apply tack coat to roadways ahead of the paving crew.

Responsibilities
  • Operate company vehicles in a responsible manner.
  • Perform pre-shift safety inspections.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, such as greasing, cleaning, and light mechanical tasks.
  • Assist with the installation of hot mix asphalt as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Paving Superintendent.
Requirements
  • CDL-A license with tanker endorsement and hazmat certification.
  • Ability to work independently in the absence of supervision.
  • Ability to work effectively with others.
  • Ability to perform manual labor.
  • Ability to pass a drug test.
  • Mechanical ability preferred.
Work Environment

This position requires working outdoors in inclement weather conditions and may involve nighttime operations. You will be exposed to various hazards such as dust, vehicle traffic, and elevated noise levels. Reports to the Paving Superintendent.

Experience
  • 1 year of driving experience preferred.
License/Certification
  • CDL A required.
Ability to Relocate
  • Relocation to West Lebanon, NH required before starting work.
