Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Property Management
    • Manage property operations, including leasing, marketing, and resident relations.
    • Conduct property inspections, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
    • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to meet predetermined vacancy standards.
  • Leasing
    • Lease apartments, implement and maintain effective advertising and marketing plans.
    • Show apartments, plan and coordinate model apartments.
  • Resident Relations
    • Respond promptly and responsibly to resident requests.
    • Plan and coordinate resident activities, hold regular Crime Watch meetings.
    • Prepare monthly newsletters for the entire complex.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of industry experience within residential real estate, or an equivalent number of years of education and real estate management experience.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, ability to communicate effectively with community tenants, vendors, and external parties.
  • Knowledge of Real Page or other related Property Management software, strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of Affordable Housing Programs (HUD/WEDA State & City Housing Programs), strongly preferred.
  • A passion for the mission, vision, and values of Sherman Associates.
