As an Intelligence Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for providing training and support to joint force commanders and staffs in the areas of intelligence operations, strategic planning, and operational planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in Deployable Training Teams (DTTs) to observe, train, and provide feedback to joint force commanders and staffs.
  • Conduct cross-functional analysis of information gathered from joint exercises and training events to develop lessons learned and best practices.
  • Research national strategic documents, historical exercise documents, and real-world operations to inform intelligence operations and strategic planning.
  • Develop and facilitate seminars for the National Defense University's Senior Leader Education Program Joint Operations Modules.
  • Update and maintain documents, articles, and periodicals related to joint intelligence operations and strategic planning.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience.
  • Joint Forces Staff College or Service equivalent.
  • Thorough understanding of the Joint Intelligence enterprise at the operational level and the ability to train, observe, and provide feedback to joint force commanders and staffs.
  • Ability to write concisely at an executive level.
  • Must be willing to travel worldwide, to include areas considered hazardous duty (up to 30% of the time).
  • U.S. Citizen with an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret security clearance once aboard.
