As a licensed practical nurse with at least one year of experience in management, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Job OverviewThe Nurse Care Manager will oversee medication management, ensure adequate nursing coverage, and provide professional guidance to non-professional staff. You will also identify educational needs of the staff and develop training programs to address these needs.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing coverage
- Provide direct patient care along with other unit nurses to maintain skills
- Oversee medication management to ensure adequate supplies and compliance with company policy
- Identify educational needs of the staff and develop training programs
- Graduate of an accredited school of licensed practical nursing
- Current licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses in the nursing center's state
- At least one year of nurse management experience
- Maintain current BLS/CPR certification
