Director of Alternative Investments

About the Role

The Director of Alternative Investments will be responsible for delivering innovative software solutions that simplify alternatives investments for financial advisors and investors. This includes all aspects of the product development lifecycle, from designing to launching new financial software features and products.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Innovative Software Development: Deliver cutting-edge software solutions that meet the evolving needs of clients and users in the alternative investment industry.
  2. Product Roadmap and Backlog Management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive roadmap and backlog for software products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to prioritize and manage work effectively.
  3. Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with Design and Engineering teams to design, build, and launch new financial software features and products, while leading the integration of AI Insight into iCapital's core product.
  4. Learning Experience Creation: Enhance the iCapital core product to include best-in-class Learning Management System functionality through custom development or integrations, creating a learning experience that helps build both foundational and investment-specific knowledge for investment decision-makers.
  5. Integrated Education Solutions: Work with the product team on integrated education solutions and lead the launch and rollout of these initiatives.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Seven years of experience in product management, including seven years each of defining product strategy and vision, learning management systems, defining roadmaps for AI/ML-based solutions, agile tracking system expertise, and completing sprints/releases within scope, budget, time, and quality parameters.
  • Experience may be gained concurrently.
