Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tower Foreman to join our team at SureSite Consulting Group, LLC. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of wireless infrastructure, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage multiple crews of field technicians to install, erect, maintain, repair, remove, or retrofit towers and rooftop antenna systems.
  • Commission (test) hardware in accordance with contractual requirements, specifications, and quality standards, and document progress in the applicable site folder.
  • Log all installation, test, close-out, and inspection results, and report crew hours for employees assigned to your crew.
  • Assist in escalating QA deficiencies to the Construction Field Manager or clearing the issue, and manage the contents of an assigned commissioning kit for the issuance of fault and/or discrepancy reports.
Requirements
  • At least five years of wireless industry experience.
  • Job-related certifications, such as safety, rescue, CPR, etc.
  • A High School Diploma/GED or higher.
  • Anritzu/PIM/fiber testing certification.
  • Connector certification (Andrew, PPC, CommScope, etc.).
  • Previous experience working as a tower climber or in man lifts.
  • Computer skills and knowledge of SWEEP and PIM equipment.
  • Knowledge of basic architecture of GSM, UMTS, and LTE.
  • Ability to review and fix discrepancies.
  • Understanding of basic RF Design for sites.
  • RFDS knowledge.
  • Ability to fabricate tower hardware and accessories to maintain, repair, and retrofit towers and antenna systems.
  • Develop leadership skills to train and transfer knowledge to less experienced field technicians.
  • Knowledge of basic RF and grounding safety standards for installation.
  • Good communication skills (interpersonal and oral).
  • Good English speaking and writing skills.
Work Environment

The work environment involves some physical risks and hazardous conditions. The position requires the use of standard installation equipment for cell sites (power tools, DC crimpers, thermoweld, hand tools, etc.). The position will require working aloft on cell towers, either in a man-lift or climbing.
