Job Title: Nephrology Dialysis Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our team. As a PCT, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and building long-term relationships with our patients suffering from end-stage renal disease.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including dialysis treatment, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, including measuring and recording vital signs
  • Educate patients on kidney dialysis-related topics and provide support throughout their treatment journey
  • Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, social workers, and leadership
Requirements and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathy and compassion
  • Experience working in healthcare, preferably in a dialysis setting (certifications such as BONENT Certified, CHT, CNA, CMA, or Phlebotomy certification a plus)
