Job Summary

The Ultrasound Technologist is a key member of the diagnostic imaging team at Parkridge West Hospital, responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by physicians. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a range of imaging procedures, including ultrasound and other diagnostic tests, to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients.
  • Ensure the delivery of quality patient care by maintaining accurate records, following proper procedures for quality controls and HLD, and adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
  • ARDMS registered or acquire within 6 months.
  • BLS current.
