Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our PreOp PACU team. As a Perioperative Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and safe transition of patients from the operating room to the recovery area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient's preoperative and postoperative status to identify potential risks and develop individualized care plans.
  • Implement evidence-based practices to promote patient safety and comfort.
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families throughout the perioperative process.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • One year of experience in preoperative or PACU nursing.
  • Current state licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (if applicable).
