Job Summary:The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to residents, supervising nursing assistants, and maintaining accurate records. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs.
- Supervise and direct nursing assistants in their daily tasks and responsibilities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care, including medication administration, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Current state license as a Registered Nurse.
- Active CPR certification.
- Excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and maintain confidentiality.
