Key Responsibilities- Customer Engagement: Work closely with customers and store team members to address building designs, provide guidance throughout the building process, and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Material Estimation: Complete accurate material list estimates for post frame building projects using Midwest Manufacturing's exclusive estimating software and product knowledge.
- Design and Sales: Design various types and styles of custom post frame buildings, and close post frame building sales by being a resource to customers and store team members.
- Team Collaboration: Work as part of a cohesive team, communicating effectively and brainstorming solutions to resolve post frame design issues.
- Problem-Solving: Utilize construction knowledge and problem-solving skills to resolve complex design issues and ensure project success.
- Special Projects: Participate in additional estimating functions and special projects as assigned by the supervisor.
- Age and Education: Must be at least 18 years old and possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Skills and Qualifications: Strong attention to detail, excellent guest service skills, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work within designated normal office hours.
- Construction Knowledge: Some knowledge of construction principles and practices.
- CAD Skills: Familiarity with CAD software and ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Education and Experience: Degree in a related field or equivalent experience in the construction industry.
