Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechatronics Technician to join our team at Walrath Recruiting, Inc. as a key member of our operations team.

Responsibilities:

  • Industrial Control Systems: Demonstrate expertise in PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems, with a preference for Automation Direct systems, to ensure seamless operation of our production equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Apply your understanding of sensors, proximity switches, and control systems to identify and resolve electrical and mechanical faults, minimizing downtime and ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Safety Focus: Maintain a strong emphasis on safety protocols and adhere to OSHA regulations to guarantee a secure working environment for all team members.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and implement repairs on various production equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience: An Associate's degree from a technical school program or related experience is required; three years of hands-on experience working with industrial control systems is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of PLC programming, with a preference for experience with Automation Direct systems, and proficiency with sensors, proximity switches, and controls is required.

Work Schedule and Benefits:

  • Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
  • Work Environment: In-person work environment
