Human Resources Coordinator

Job Summary:
This role is responsible for providing comprehensive human resource support to the organization, including recruitment, HRIS administration, new hire orientation, compliance, training, and organizational development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage employee time-off and ensure accurate processing of benefits, schedules, and payroll.
- Process new hires and terminations, maintaining accurate employee records and HRIS files.
- Support recruitment efforts, including writing and posting job ads, screening candidates, and conducting interviews.
- Assist with payroll processing, including preparing safety shoe/glasses reimbursement forms and investigating payroll-related issues.
- Administer locker assignments, assist with employee issues, and report findings to the HR Manager.
- Monitor audits and investigate HR-related matters, ensuring compliance with regulations such as safety, sexual harassment, discrimination, ADA, FMLA, Wage and Hour, EEOC, and DOL.
- Prepare job descriptions and provide recommendations to the HR Manager.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource or a related field.
- Minimum one year of experience in Human Resources.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations.
Technical Expertise:
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts and operations.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence.
- Analytical skills, including synthesizing complex information and designing work flows.
- Business acumen, understanding business implications of decisions.
Working Conditions:
This role requires the ability to travel domestically by car or plane and work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to maintain utmost confidentiality and provide exceptional customer service.
