**RN Unit Manager Position**

We are seeking a skilled RN Unit Manager to lead our nursing team at The Laurels of Forest Glenn. As a RN Unit Manager, you will be responsible for providing, planning, coordinating, or managing nursing care and health education for our guests.

**Responsibilities**

  • Supervise nursing care provided by Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), and others.
  • Review and implement all nursing procedures and systems.
  • Assess and evaluate the systems which facilitate the delivery of quality guest care and performance of staff.
  • Use a systematic approach in the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care.
  • Contribute to the guest assessments (MDS/CAAs) and the development and implementation of a plan of care.
  • Evaluate guests responses to nursing interventions.
  • Understand the rational for the use of medications and treatments and correctly administer as needed.

**Qualifications**

  • Current state nursing licensure required.
  • Current CPR certification and additional certification in a nursing specialty desired.
  • Management or supervisor experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred.
