The Laurels of Massillon is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Care Manager to join our team. As a Nurse Care Manager, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents and ensuring their overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Care Team: Supervise and coordinate the care provided by our licensed practical nurses (LPNs), state-tested nursing assistants (STNAs), and other team members to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
- Medication Management: Safely and accurately administer medications to our residents, taking into account their unique needs and medical histories.
- Health Assessments: Conduct thorough health assessments to identify any changes in our residents' conditions and notify our physicians promptly.
- Develop Care Plans: Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop personalized care plans that address the unique needs and goals of each resident.
- Quality Improvement: Contribute to our quality improvement initiatives by identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices to enhance the care we provide.
Requirements:
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care setting, preferably in a leadership or management role.
- Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state.
- Certification: CPR certification.
