The Los Angeles LGBT Center is a leading provider of mental health services, and we are seeking a skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our team. In this role, you will work with clients presenting for Substance Use and Recovery Services (SURS), providing individual, couples, and group counseling services.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct individual and group supportive counseling services for clients in MHS and document progress in the client record immediately following session.
  • Provide wrap-around care coordination, with internal and external service providers, to improve engagement and successful outcomes in SURS and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) care.
  • Serve on-duty across Center sites as directed by Manager during designated hours each week to handle walk-ins, intakes, and provide general information.

Our ideal candidate has knowledge of or experience working with the LGBTQ+ community and familiarity with issues of particular relevance to LGBTQ+ people. They also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong organizational, detail, and interpersonal skills.
