Position Overview

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:

Enhance and uphold our esteemed Red Wing brand image through professional sales techniques, fostering loyalty, and establishing enduring relationships with our clientele. This is accomplished by advocating for the Red Wing Shoe Company's Ultimate Fit Experience (UFX), marketing our premium products, and delivering attentive customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Guide each customer through RWSC's Ultimate Fit Experience
  • Recommend suitable accessories and educate customers on their benefits
  • Generate leads for industrial sales
  • Meet and surpass daily productivity and sales targets
  • Maintain the presentation of the sales floor, store signage, and cleanliness standards
  • Enhance product knowledge and operational standards through ongoing learning
  • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to organizational standards and legal regulations
  • Support daily operations of the retail store
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Gather necessary information by utilizing RWSC's electronic communication tools
  • Maintain service quality by adhering to organizational quality system standards
  • Uphold the core values of Red Wing Shoe Company
  • Be open to performing additional duties as needed
  • Conduct oneself in accordance with RWSC policies
  • Foster collaborative relationships with key individuals in the workplace
Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Results-oriented mindset
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in computer utilization
ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Comprehensive understanding of Red Wing Shoe Company's mission, values, and organizational structure
  • Knowledge of profit and loss
  • Curiosity and passion for innovative ideas, with a focus on driving growth
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Experience in retail footwear
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, bend/squat to lace shoes, overhead lifting, twisting, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods
  • Housekeeping responsibilities including vacuuming, mopping, waxing floors, washing windows, using disinfectant chemicals, disposing of trash, maintaining recycling, and managing furniture, fixtures, and displays
