Position Summary:

The Heavy Civil Superintendent will oversee heavy civil construction projects and manage field personnel throughout the project lifecycle. Expertise in structural concrete is essential to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.

Key Duties:

  • Ensure safety is the top priority on-site
  • Review and execute construction project documentation
  • Assist in managing manpower and equipment
  • Maintain precise construction records
  • Drive to various job sites as needed
  • Interpret and analyze construction documents
  • Supervise structural concrete operations
  • Verify all necessary documentation
  • Ensure quality control during installations

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Heavy Civil Superintendent
  • OR a minimum of 5 years as an Assistant Heavy Civil Superintendent
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field with 5 years of experience as a Project Engineer
  • Familiarity with project management software; Procore experience is a plus
  • OSHA 30 certification is preferred
