Job Summary

As a Staff Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist at Children's of Alabama, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality anesthesia care to pediatric patients. To be successful in this position, you must demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence, teamwork, and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide anesthesia care to pediatric patients undergoing various surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Develop and implement individualized anesthesia plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and assessments to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in pediatric anesthesia and incorporate evidence-based practices into your care
Requirements
  • Graduation from an approved program of nurse anesthesia accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse issued by the Alabama Board of Nursing
  • Certified/Recertified by American Association of Nurse Anesthetists
  • Current BLS certification
