Job Overview

Centurion Health is seeking a skilled Behavioral Specialist to join our team at the Selinsgrove Center. As a Behavioral Specialist, you will play a critical role in assessing the capacity and needs of individuals residing at the center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct behavioral assessments to identify triggers, frequencies, and consequences of an individual's behavior.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including individualized instructional and behavioral support plans.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including psychiatry, PSS, RSA/RSAT, PSD, FD, CDS, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Support transition activities of individuals from the state center to the community.

Requirements:

  • Possesses a minimum of a master's degree in education or psychology, social work, or other related field with an emphasis on behavioral support.
  • Five (5) plus years in service delivery to persons living with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), intellectual developmental disabilities (IDD), and dual diagnosis.
