About Us
At Thrive Pet Healthcare, you will experience the warmth of a small clinic while benefiting from the extensive support of a large network.
Schedule:
This is a full-time position that includes Monday through Friday shifts and rotating Saturday responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians in delivering high-quality veterinary care and advocating for pet health.
- Support the medical team to enhance productivity and ensure a smooth patient flow.
- Participate in surgical procedures in compliance with state regulations for credentialed veterinary technicians.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their pets' health and offer guidance on treatment options.
- Maintain accurate medical records and assist in gathering health histories from clients.
- Employ safe restraint techniques and uphold cleanliness in treatment areas, exam rooms, and laboratories.
- Mentor and support fellow team members.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in veterinary care is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and engage in physical activities such as squatting, reaching, standing, and walking throughout the day.
