Job Overview

Our client, a Leading Global Manufacturer in Medical Devices, is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector for a Contract Position. This role is ideal for individuals who are driven by results and wish to contribute meaningfully in a collaborative and professional setting.

Key Responsibilities

As a vital member of the Quality Assurance and Inspection Team, you will address issues reported from the field concerning robotic surgical units and their attachments. Your primary duties will include reviewing and validating failures and logging results in the designated tracking system.

Core Duties Include:
  • Conducting inspections and tests to ensure products are defect-free and operate as intended.
  • Creating and executing methods and procedures aimed at process control and enhancement.
  • Employing advanced testing equipment to perform product testing and analysis, ensuring quality standards are met and minimizing defect rates.
  • Examining reports and defective items to identify trends and suggest corrective measures.
  • Collaborating with supplier representatives to resolve quality issues, ensuring effective corrective actions are taken, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
  • This role requires independent judgment and professional expertise, functioning with minimal supervision.
Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree is required; a degree in an Engineering discipline is preferred, with Mechanical Engineering being highly recommended.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality role within a medical device company; equivalent experience in a regulated manufacturing environment may also be considered.
  • Familiarity with TrackWise is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance and Inspection Testing is strongly preferred.
