Nursing Care Specialist

Maxim Healthcare Services is a leading provider of home healthcare services, with over 30 years of experience in caring for patients across the nation. We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our team in Warwick, RI.
About the Role
We offer a range of assignments to accommodate caregivers' unique needs, from full-time and part-time opportunities to per diem shifts. Our LPNs work closely with experienced nurses to provide high-quality patient care, including gastrostomy tube management, tracheostomy tube care, and mechanical ventilator support.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. This includes collecting and analyzing data, identifying specific patient needs, and performing focused interviews to ensure comprehensive care. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with wound care, medication administration, and vital sign monitoring.
Requirements
To be eligible for this role, candidates must possess a current LPN/LVN license in the state of practice, as well as a valid Health Certificate and PPD or Chest X-Ray. A minimum of one year of prior LPN experience is preferred, but not required. Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional patient care.
