At Surpass Behavioral Health, we provide high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children and teens with autism.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ABA Behavior Technician to join our team. As a valued member of our therapy team, you will work under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide individualized services to children with autism.
Responsibilities- Provide direct one-on-one therapeutic care to clients in a home, school, clinic, and/or community setting to implement behavioral treatment plans and instructional plans utilizing ABA principles.
- Assist with supporting clients during times of challenging behaviors through the implementation of the client's behavior support plan as developed by the BCBA.
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of instructional materials/stimuli.
- Bachelor or Associate Degree in behavioral health, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Special Education, or related field, preferred.
- Ability to acquire RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification within 45 days of hire date, with training provided by Surpass Behavioral Health.
- Prior professional experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) in a multi-disciplinary team setting is a plus.
- Works with integrity and adheres to the BACB Ethical Code, HIPAA practices, and company policies.
- Up to 25 paid holiday and personal days off in year one.
- Bi-weekly bonus incentive available upon obtaining RBT.
- Paid training to receive your RBT certification.
- Work Monday-Friday, no weekends required.
